Anyone who doesn't advocate for orphan children probably could never understand the pain one goes through when "losing" a child. And maybe some advocates will call me crazy for still being heartbroken over Peggy being no longer adoptable, but it's a sadness I just can't shake.
When I can't put my feelings into words I listen to music. With all that's went on in the advocating world recently this song brings me comfort. It reminds me that Jesus is always here with open arms ready to hear my prayers, cries and praises. I only wish that "my" precious pretty girl Peggy could hear these lyrics. Though I know she couldn't understand them for two good reasons, she knows Ukrainian and is a baby, but still.
All I can do is run to Jesus with my fears, worries and know that he is always there, ready to listen and free me from the many things that are weighing heavily on my heart.
Thank you Jesus for loving me and being so merciful... <3
